From our family to yours we bring the best of our collective culinary experience to the heart of historic Summerville.  We are blessed and honored to serve in this incredible community. We thank you for welcoming us to this growing town and we hope to serve for many years to come. La Rustica is at its heart a gathering place and our goal is to welcome you to our culinary home and share our craft with you and your families,  keeping our Italian traditions alive through our cuisine and hospitality,  while honoring the low county spirit! 

Our culinary mission started with our Patriarch and executive chef Giulio Pellegrini when he came to the United States from Patrica, Italy in 1965. He met Janie, Mom, Grandma, and our pastry chef in Michigan and they began a culinary adventure that has spanned the continent. After 30 wonderful years in Seattle our family settled in Summerville South Carolina with Aimee, general manager, and her husband, Hector Arroyo, lead chef and chief engineer and their two children Annina and Valentin.  Now Summerville locals, we care deeply about our community and look forward to welcoming you to our corner of Summerville!
